Felprene offers high resistance to abrasion and exceptional flexibility in low temperatures. The wide range of additives and olefins incorporated in our compounds have allowed us to create a vast selection of products that can replace either elastomer PVC used in footwear or natural rubber in manufactured gaskets and seals. Some similar products include Vistaflex, Garaflex, and Tekbond. With its strong affinity with PS, ABS, or SAN, the Felprene class should be considered as an alternative when selecting compounds for over-molding or coextrusion. These products are available in an extensive variety of colours and hardness values.

The base ingredient of Felprene is SBS, a copolymer composed of a soft segment (butadiene) to which are attached two hard segments (styrene) at the extremities. Example: Kraton D
